The ABC Kiddie College Child Care Center, established in 2008 by the congregation of the Light Global Mission Church as a Religiously Exempt Child Day Center under the Virginia Law. We strive to give our children age-appropriate learning and developing experiences in a Christian environment.

2. Location
|
|
|
We are located on Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy (Rt 50) between I-66 and 7100. ABC Kiddie College is located within a few miles from major highways I-66, 7100, Rt 50, and Rt 29.
ABC Kiddie College is operating in a newly renovated building specifically designed for a child care center.

3. Experience with Heart
|

|
ABC Kiddie College has a very short history. However, its director and teachers have many years of experience teaching and caring for young children. Our utmost priority will always be to give our children the most loving environment where they will receive the best care and education.

The Center's care and learning program is designed
- To give children the very best and highest quality care and education they can get anywhere in the country,
- To help them grow and develop fully and freely at their own pace in all dimensions of growth (physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual) as whole person,
- To encourage children to enjoy learning, to discover their talents, and to build learning and social skills for later school success,
- To guide them in building Christian character and values, and
- To offer diverse, balanced and enjoyable learning programs to achieve the above objectives.

5. PHILOSOPHY & PROGRAM CHARACTERISTICS

- We believe that God made individual children unique in terms of ability, temperament, pace of development and passion. Therefore, we emphasize individualized approach to learning.
- We believe that personality structure, attitude and behavior pattern that strongly influence a person's future is largely formed during the first six years of life. Therefore, we reach children early to help them develop positive and favorable attitude toward life, school and learning to enhance their life in general and approaching school days in particular.
- We believe that learning activities perceived as fun by children help and motivate them to become willing and self-directing learners. Therefore, we make every learning activity real fun.
- We believe that self-esteem and self-confidence has important bearing in a child's learning. Therefore, we provide children with many opportunities to experience success through completing a series of small tasks satisfactorily to help them build healthy and positive self-concept.
- We believe that parents are the most important partners in early childhood education. Therefore, we closely work with parents.
- We believe that children learn best when they are engaged in learning activities that correspond to their interests / needs and reflect the characteristics of the developmental stage they are in. Therefore, we offer programs that are very much child-centered and age-appropriate.
- We believe that it is better for children at this young age to develop readiness for future learning and to cultivate good work habits and attitudes than to jump right into learning letters and numbers without such foundation. Therefore, our school programs emphasize readiness and good work habits to ensure future success.
