Mrs. Kyung
(0 to 18 months)

Hello, my name is Kyung Hwa Cho and I am one of the teachers in the Infant Room.  My education is in Social Welfare; as I studied, I became very interested in children and worked at a daycare center in Korea.  During this time, I married and relocated to the United States with my husband.  Since I have been in America, I have been able to renew my greatest joy, and that is working with children here in ABC Kiddie College.  I am thrilled to be able to spend time with the children, meet the parents and work with such great teachers.  ABC Kiddie College is always in my heart.  It is here that I have fun, am happy and am able to give and receive love.

Ms. Ana

This year is going to be an exciting year for me because we have new classrooms, new carpets, new teachers and new faces. I love seeing them smiling, dancing, and especially when they run to me after they are dropped off by their parents in the morning. I've been working with kids since 2005. Every time I feed them, I pray they can grow beautifully both inside and out. I like to exercise and swim on my free time and I also love to cook. My specialties are Kalbi and Kimchi.

Ms. Sue
(18 months & up Teacher)

I have been working in this field for almost 8 years. I have one son and one daughter and I can't wait to meet my grandchildren in the future. I am really thankful for being able to work at ABC Kiddie College because this is a great place to teach these kids how to start their lives with great people and great friends. I think I am good at getting children to take naps, dance and laugh. I take dancing classes on weekends and also love to cook in my free time. My specialties are Shabu Shabu and Summer Rolls. One day, I wish I could cook for all the kids at the daycare.

Ms. Soon Ae

Hello. My name is Soonae Kim. I am a mother of two high school students and a wife of a wonderful husband. I am happy for the opportunity to take care of the children in the Infant/Toddler room now. I have a passion toward young children and have taught children in Sunday school for many years. Working with children in this capacity has led me to major in Child Mission Education. I have worked at a Christian based daycare center in Korea and Maryland. I am so grateful I have found ABC Kiddie College now that I have moved to Northern Virginia. My specialties are singing, body movement, storytelling, arts and crafts. I look forward to seeing and working with the adorable kids.   I want to reach them with love and prayer.

Ms. Miltes

Hello, my name is Miltes Mpasi and I am originally from Brazil.  I moved to the U.S. in 2007, I am married and, although I don't currently have children of my own, I plan to eventually add a little one to the household.  I was raised into the Christian faith and I believe that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life as it says in John 14:1-14.  These words have guided and shaped me to be the person I am today.  In 1996, I received my Early Childhood Education degree from CELGA in Sao Paulo, Brazil and in 2000, I received my B.A. in Portuguese Language from UNIFAI, a Catholic University in Sao Paulo, Brazil.  I speak Portuguese and Spanish, as well as English.  I am currently attending NVCC and working on my A.A. degree in Social Science.  I then plan to transfer to GMU for my B.A.  My philosophy on working with young children is that they learn from play.  I base my curriculum on the children's interests but also include the basic learning of colors, shapes, letters and numbers in games and activities.  I believe teaching is an incredibly important profession and I am so glad to be a part of it.

Ms. Ruth

Hello Parents!  My name is Ruth Ahn, and I am currently the Assistant Teacher in the Tulip class.  I am a recent graduate from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, with a major in Modern Languages & Linguistics.  I am hoping to become an ESL teacher or a translator in the future, with the possibility of working overseas.  I attend Light Global Mission Church, serving as the 10th grade girls' teacher at Upside (the Youth Ministry).  I love to sing, play the guitar, and knit wrist-warmers and scarves for friends and family members.  Although I enjoy being with children, I did not realize how much I loved to work with them until I started to work at ABC Kiddie College.  Through working with the children here, I hope that I will come to love them just as much as Jesus loves me.

Ms. Danielle

Hello, My name is Danielle and I teach the three year old children in the Juniper room.  I am currently pursuing a Masters of  Arts in Religion at Reformed Theological Seminary.  My dream is to be a teacher and mentor for youth.  Along with teaching, I serve as the children's director at Young Saeng Korean Presbyterian Church.   It is a great privilege to watch children grow academically, as well as emotionally and spiritually.   My goal in teaching is to not only teach academically, but to inspire and challenge students to think and express themselves.

Ms. Julia

Hello, my name is Julia Woo and I am the Lead Teacher for the Sunflower room.  I am so excited to be with my fabulous 3-year-olds who are so full of energy and love for learning new things.  I have a B.S. Degree in Psychology and I have always loved being a teacher.  I live in Centreville, VA with my husband, Peter, and my daughter, Mary, who just started high school.  My family loves going to the movies together and going on impulsive road trips.  I hope to bring in my love for life and Jesus into the classroom everyday.  I want to be the most caring and nurturing teacher I can be for my wonderful Sunflowers!

My name is Courtney Wiggins.  I have a beautiful family and I am the mother of a young son.  I have been working in child care since 2006; as I love working with kids, I plan to stay in child care for a VERY long time!  I want to thank you for having faith in me to care for your child.  My pledge to you is to go above and beyond in order to prepare your child for school.  Let's go Sage class!!
